The Northern Headland of Jervis Bay
Beecroft Peninsula forms the northern arm of Jervis Bay, a long sandstone headland ending in the cliffs and lighthouse at Point Perpendicular. Much of it is Commonwealth land used as a Defence range, with public access to places like Honeymoon Bay and the lighthouse road when the range is not in use. The settled part of the peninsula is essentially Currarong, a small village with holiday houses, a creek and a surf beach facing the open ocean.
So this is not a suburb in the usual sense. The people we help here are Currarong residents, owners of weekenders, and a few rural landholders on the approach roads. Their common thread is distance: the peninsula is a long drive from Nowra, and connectivity reflects that.
Holiday Houses and Full-Time Homes at the End of the Road
Most dwellings on Beecroft Peninsula are in and around Currarong. A good share are holiday houses used on weekends and over summer, while the permanent community includes retirees and people who work remotely. When the village fills up at Christmas and Easter, mobile data slows and everyone discovers exactly how far their Wi-Fi reaches.
Sea air is hard on electronics, too. Modems in garages, outdoor cameras and gate controllers near the coast corrode faster than inland, and a salty breeze through an open window is not kind to laptops.
Supporting the Few Businesses Out on the Peninsula
Commercial activity on the peninsula is modest: the Currarong general store and cafe trade, holiday-letting managers, fishing and boating visitors, and tradespeople who travel out from Nowra or Culburra Beach. A number of residents also run consulting or creative work from home, relying entirely on their internet connection.
Nothing here should depend on a single fragile link. A small business with one connection and no backup can lose a whole peak weekend if the service drops. We focus on practical resilience: a fallback connection, cloud storage, and devices that can keep taking payments.
Access, Defence Land and What Visits Look Like
The only road onto Beecroft Peninsula runs from the Nowra side through the rural country near Culburra Beach and Callala Bay, then out along Currarong Road. Point Perpendicular, Honeymoon Bay and Abrahams Bosom Beach are well-known spots, but access to parts of the peninsula depends on Defence range activity. We do not work on Defence systems; our help is for private homes and local businesses.
Given the distance, we try to solve problems remotely first and schedule visits alongside other work near Culburra Beach or Callala Bay. For household network problems, our wireless network service covers design and installation.
Other places we look after in the 2540 postcode include Bamarang 2540, Barringella 2540, Basin View 2540, Berrara 2540 and Bewong 2540. See every suburb in Jervis Bay, or our IT Support Canberra page for the whole district.

When a machine starts misbehaving, our technicians work through it methodically, isolate the real cause, and get you back up and running instead of guessing.
A new printer, monitor, webcam or external drive should just work. We install and configure peripherals so they slot neatly into your existing setup.
Cracked, flickering or blacked-out laptop, tablet and monitor screens are usually repairable. We assess and replace them with genuine parts, quickly.

Whether it is a fresh setup, a migration or the classic will-not-send headache, we sort Microsoft 365, Outlook and Google Workspace email for households and teams.
We design, install and extend wired and Wi-Fi networks so homes and offices from Bonython to Chisholm get strong, secure coverage in every room, including tricky NBN connections.
New phone or tablet? We set it up, connect it and carry across your contacts, messages, photos and apps, so you walk away ready to go with nothing left behind.
Patient one-on-one or small-group training for people of any age and skill level, pitched to where you are at so the lessons actually stick.
Failed hard drive, dead USB stick or files that have simply vanished? We work to recover what matters most to you, and if there is no data there is no fee.
We set up automatic local, cloud or hybrid backups for homes and businesses, then test the restore so you know your files will actually come back when it counts.
Encryption, sensible access controls and clear policies keep your data out of the wrong hands without getting in the way of your working day.
Moving to a new device? We transfer your data across cleanly, check every file landed safely, and keep downtime to a minimum.
A fresh Windows or macOS install clears out years of clutter and lingering infections. We rebuild, reconfigure and restore your machine so it feels new again.
Something new to install, or old programs to clear out? We handle software installs, removals and licensing so everything works together the way it should.
Brand-new or getting on in years, we tune startup items, storage and settings so your computer runs as fast and smoothly as it can.
From the latest consoles to retro favourites, we set them up, sort parental controls, and get them talking to your home network and TV.
Firewalls, antivirus, patching and sensible configuration keep your systems and networks protected, and we step in quickly if something slips through.
We set up and troubleshoot AV, projectors, sound and video conferencing for homes, boardrooms and meeting spaces so presentations just work.
Ransomware, spyware, adware or a stubborn virus? Our technicians remove the infection, recover what they can, and harden the machine so it does not happen again.
New printer refusing to cooperate or an old one gone on strike? We get printing, scanning and drivers working across all your devices.
Not sure what to buy? We give honest, vendor-neutral advice on the devices and solutions that genuinely suit how you live and work.
After damage, loss or theft, we prepare clear condition and valuation reports to support your insurance claim.
CCTV, access control, smart locks, intercoms and alarms, installed, serviced and tied neatly into your network and systems.
