Surf, Bush and Slow Internet at Bawley Point
Bawley Point is a small coastal village between Ulladulla and Kioloa, reached off the Princes Highway along Murramarang Road. It is surrounded by bush and national park, with rocky headlands, surf breaks, quiet beaches and Willinga Lake close by. Many visitors come for the surf, fishing and camping, and a good number of houses are holiday homes or short-stay rentals.
The village was threatened by the Currowan fire during the 2019-20 Black Summer, and like much of this stretch of coast, it has spent the years since rebuilding and preparing. Internet here tends to be fixed wireless or satellite, mobile reception can be unreliable, and the nearest large town is Ulladulla, around half an hour north. Getting technology right really matters.
Beach Shacks, Retirees and Holiday Rentals
Bawley Point homes range from classic beach shacks and older family holiday houses to modern builds with ocean views. Permanent residents include retirees, surfers, artists and families, while many properties are occupied only on weekends and holidays. Guests often arrive expecting city-speed Wi-Fi, which is not always realistic on fixed wireless or satellite.
We help households and owners set realistic expectations, choose the best available service and configure equipment so the connection is as reliable as possible.
Small Businesses at Bawley Point
Bawley Point’s local economy centres on tourism and services: accommodation, holiday rentals, a few cafés and shops, surf-related businesses and tradespeople. Many operators manage bookings and payments from a phone or laptop, often over a connection that struggles during busy periods.
We help these small businesses keep running with reliable payment options, secure systems and backups that protect their records. The fire season has also shown the importance of being able to work from elsewhere if needed.
Getting to Bawley Point
Bawley Point is reached via Murramarang Road off the Princes Highway, south of Ulladulla and Lake Tabourie. Kioloa and Termeil are the closest neighbours, and Murramarang National Park surrounds much of the area. Roads are generally sealed, but some properties have long bush driveways.
Many problems can be fixed remotely, which is often quickest. For on-site work, we schedule visits and group them with other appointments along the southern Shoalhaven coast.
Other places we look after in the 2539 postcode include Bendalong 2539, Berringer Lake 2539, Burrill Lake 2539, Cockwhy 2539 and Conjola 2539. See every suburb in Shoalhaven, or our IT Support Canberra page for the whole district.

What we do in Bawley Point
IT Support Services
Running slow, overheating, fans roaring or refusing to boot at all? We repair laptops and desktops for homes and offices, with most jobs turned around the same day.
When a machine starts misbehaving, our technicians work through it methodically, isolate the real cause, and get you back up and running instead of guessing.
A new printer, monitor, webcam or external drive should just work. We install and configure peripherals so they slot neatly into your existing setup.
Cracked, flickering or blacked-out laptop, tablet and monitor screens are usually repairable. We assess and replace them with genuine parts, quickly.
A quick SSD swap or extra memory can breathe years back into a tired computer. We fit the upgrades that give you the biggest performance gain for the least outlay.
Whether it is a fresh setup, a migration or the classic will-not-send headache, we sort Microsoft 365, Outlook and Google Workspace email for households and teams.
We design, install and extend wired and Wi-Fi networks so homes and offices from Bonython to Chisholm get strong, secure coverage in every room, including tricky NBN connections.
New phone or tablet? We set it up, connect it and carry across your contacts, messages, photos and apps, so you walk away ready to go with nothing left behind.
Patient one-on-one or small-group training for people of any age and skill level, pitched to where you are at so the lessons actually stick.
Failed hard drive, dead USB stick or files that have simply vanished? We work to recover what matters most to you, and if there is no data there is no fee.
We set up automatic local, cloud or hybrid backups for homes and businesses, then test the restore so you know your files will actually come back when it counts.
Encryption, sensible access controls and clear policies keep your data out of the wrong hands without getting in the way of your working day.
Moving to a new device? We transfer your data across cleanly, check every file landed safely, and keep downtime to a minimum.
A fresh Windows or macOS install clears out years of clutter and lingering infections. We rebuild, reconfigure and restore your machine so it feels new again.
Something new to install, or old programs to clear out? We handle software installs, removals and licensing so everything works together the way it should.
Brand-new or getting on in years, we tune startup items, storage and settings so your computer runs as fast and smoothly as it can.
From the latest consoles to retro favourites, we set them up, sort parental controls, and get them talking to your home network and TV.
Firewalls, antivirus, patching and sensible configuration keep your systems and networks protected, and we step in quickly if something slips through.
We set up and troubleshoot AV, projectors, sound and video conferencing for homes, boardrooms and meeting spaces so presentations just work.
Ransomware, spyware, adware or a stubborn virus? Our technicians remove the infection, recover what they can, and harden the machine so it does not happen again.
New printer refusing to cooperate or an old one gone on strike? We get printing, scanning and drivers working across all your devices.
Not sure what to buy? We give honest, vendor-neutral advice on the devices and solutions that genuinely suit how you live and work.
After damage, loss or theft, we prepare clear condition and valuation reports to support your insurance claim.
CCTV, access control, smart locks, intercoms and alarms, installed, serviced and tied neatly into your network and systems.
