Where the River Meets Seven Mile Beach
Shoalhaven Heads is a relaxed coastal town at the mouth of the Shoalhaven River, with Seven Mile Beach National Park running north toward Gerroa and Mount Coolangatta rising behind it. The river entrance is often closed by a sand bar, leaving calm estuary water that families, paddlers and anglers love. Streets are lined with single-storey brick homes, fibro cottages and newer two-storey builds, many close enough to hear the surf.
A large share of residents are retirees and long-term locals, joined by families who commute to Nowra, Berry or even Wollongong, and holiday visitors who fill the caravan parks and rentals over summer. That makes the tech mix varied: simple, secure setups for older households, busy family networks, and holiday homes that need to work without anyone there to reset the modem.
Patient, Practical Help for Heads Households
Many people we help here want the basics done well: email that works, photos backed up, video calls to grandchildren, online banking without worry. Scam calls and fake delivery texts are a genuine concern, and we take time to explain what to watch for rather than rushing through.
Families have different needs, often a dozen devices, gaming consoles and school laptops fighting for bandwidth. Brick internal walls in older homes can block Wi-Fi more than you would expect, so a single router in the front room rarely reaches the back bedrooms. A properly placed mesh system usually solves it.
Local Traders and Home-Based Businesses
Business life in the Heads centres on a small village shopping area with cafes, takeaway, a supermarket and services, along with the bowling and golf clubs and holiday parks near the water. Summer trade is heavy, and a POS terminal or booking system failing on a hot January weekend is a real problem.
There are also plenty of home-based operators: bookkeepers, tradespeople, allied health practitioners and consultants who chose the lifestyle and work from a spare room. They need secure, backed-up systems without the cost of an in-house IT person, and advice they can trust when renewing hardware.
Getting to Shoalhaven Heads
The town is reached from Bomaderry along Bolong Road or from Berry via the road that crosses the flats past Coolangatta. Neighbouring rural areas such as Coolangatta, Jaspers Brush and Far Meadow sit on the dairy country between the river and the escarpment, and Gerringong and Gerroa lie to the north across Seven Mile Beach.
Our visits here are often grouped with other jobs around Berry and Nowra. Many issues, from email errors to printer drivers, can be fixed remotely in one session. When hands-on help is needed we aim for a same-day or next-business-day visit where possible and will confirm a realistic time when you call.
Other places we look after in the 2535 postcode include Back Forest 2535, Bellawongarah 2535, Berry Mountain 2535, Berry 2535 and Brogers Creek 2535. See every suburb in Shoalhaven, or our IT Support Canberra page for the whole district.

What we do in Shoalhaven Heads
IT Support Services
Running slow, overheating, fans roaring or refusing to boot at all? We repair laptops and desktops for homes and offices, with most jobs turned around the same day.
When a machine starts misbehaving, our technicians work through it methodically, isolate the real cause, and get you back up and running instead of guessing.
A new printer, monitor, webcam or external drive should just work. We install and configure peripherals so they slot neatly into your existing setup.
Cracked, flickering or blacked-out laptop, tablet and monitor screens are usually repairable. We assess and replace them with genuine parts, quickly.
A quick SSD swap or extra memory can breathe years back into a tired computer. We fit the upgrades that give you the biggest performance gain for the least outlay.
Whether it is a fresh setup, a migration or the classic will-not-send headache, we sort Microsoft 365, Outlook and Google Workspace email for households and teams.
We design, install and extend wired and Wi-Fi networks so homes and offices from Bonython to Chisholm get strong, secure coverage in every room, including tricky NBN connections.
New phone or tablet? We set it up, connect it and carry across your contacts, messages, photos and apps, so you walk away ready to go with nothing left behind.
Patient one-on-one or small-group training for people of any age and skill level, pitched to where you are at so the lessons actually stick.
Failed hard drive, dead USB stick or files that have simply vanished? We work to recover what matters most to you, and if there is no data there is no fee.
We set up automatic local, cloud or hybrid backups for homes and businesses, then test the restore so you know your files will actually come back when it counts.
Encryption, sensible access controls and clear policies keep your data out of the wrong hands without getting in the way of your working day.
Moving to a new device? We transfer your data across cleanly, check every file landed safely, and keep downtime to a minimum.
A fresh Windows or macOS install clears out years of clutter and lingering infections. We rebuild, reconfigure and restore your machine so it feels new again.
Something new to install, or old programs to clear out? We handle software installs, removals and licensing so everything works together the way it should.
Brand-new or getting on in years, we tune startup items, storage and settings so your computer runs as fast and smoothly as it can.
From the latest consoles to retro favourites, we set them up, sort parental controls, and get them talking to your home network and TV.
Firewalls, antivirus, patching and sensible configuration keep your systems and networks protected, and we step in quickly if something slips through.
We set up and troubleshoot AV, projectors, sound and video conferencing for homes, boardrooms and meeting spaces so presentations just work.
Ransomware, spyware, adware or a stubborn virus? Our technicians remove the infection, recover what they can, and harden the machine so it does not happen again.
New printer refusing to cooperate or an old one gone on strike? We get printing, scanning and drivers working across all your devices.
Not sure what to buy? We give honest, vendor-neutral advice on the devices and solutions that genuinely suit how you live and work.
After damage, loss or theft, we prepare clear condition and valuation reports to support your insurance claim.
CCTV, access control, smart locks, intercoms and alarms, installed, serviced and tied neatly into your network and systems.
