The Lakeside Gateway to the Snowfields
Jindabyne is the main town of the Snowy Mountains ski country, set on the shores of Lake Jindabyne at the junction of Kosciuszko Road and the Alpine Way. The original town was moved to its present site in the 1960s, when the Snowy Mountains Scheme flooded the valley to form the lake. Today it is the base for Thredbo and Perisher, and a year-round destination for mountain biking, fishing and bushwalking.
Although our records list Jindabyne under the Tumut to Tumbarumba area, it is the heart of the Snowy Monaro. Its population swells dramatically each winter, and its IT needs change with the seasons. We support households and businesses across the town.
Homes, Rentals and Share Houses Around Town
Jindabyne’s housing ranges from older homes built when the town moved, to modern houses and townhouses on newer estates and holiday rentals throughout. Many homes see heavy use during winter, with share households of seasonal workers or holiday guests stretching networks to the limit.
Internet options in town are better than in the surrounding countryside, but demand can still slow things down in peak season. We help families, renters and landlords set up networks that cope with the crowds and remain secure all year.
A Town That Works in Seasons
Jindabyne’s economy is driven by tourism: accommodation, ski hire, restaurants, tour operators, retail and the trades that keep the town growing. Many businesses employ seasonal staff and must scale up quickly, then scale back when the snow melts. Construction has also been busy, with ongoing demand for housing.
We support local businesses with managed IT services that cover onboarding, security and devices, so owners can focus on their customers during the busiest months of the year.
Getting Around Jindabyne
Jindabyne sits under an hour west of Cooma and is the jumping-off point for Thredbo, Perisher and Charlotte Pass. The town centre around Nuggets Crossing and the lakeside foreshore is compact, while newer estates extend up the hills and around the lake toward East Jindabyne and Kalkite.
Our technicians visit regularly and aim for same-day or next-business-day help where we can. During ski season, roads and parking can be busy, so we plan appointments carefully and handle many jobs remotely.
Other places we look after in the 2627 postcode include Bullocks Flat 2627, Burrungubugge 2627, Crackenback 2627, Creel Bay 2627 and East Jindabyne 2627. See every suburb in Tumut to Tumbarumba, or our IT Support Canberra page for the whole district.

Running slow, overheating, fans roaring or refusing to boot at all? We repair laptops and desktops for homes and offices, with most jobs turned around the same day.
When a machine starts misbehaving, our technicians work through it methodically, isolate the real cause, and get you back up and running instead of guessing.
A new printer, monitor, webcam or external drive should just work. We install and configure peripherals so they slot neatly into your existing setup.
Cracked, flickering or blacked-out laptop, tablet and monitor screens are usually repairable. We assess and replace them with genuine parts, quickly.
A quick SSD swap or extra memory can breathe years back into a tired computer. We fit the upgrades that give you the biggest performance gain for the least outlay.
Whether it is a fresh setup, a migration or the classic will-not-send headache, we sort Microsoft 365, Outlook and Google Workspace email for households and teams.
We design, install and extend wired and Wi-Fi networks so homes and offices from Bonython to Chisholm get strong, secure coverage in every room, including tricky NBN connections.
New phone or tablet? We set it up, connect it and carry across your contacts, messages, photos and apps, so you walk away ready to go with nothing left behind.
Patient one-on-one or small-group training for people of any age and skill level, pitched to where you are at so the lessons actually stick.
Failed hard drive, dead USB stick or files that have simply vanished? We work to recover what matters most to you, and if there is no data there is no fee.
We set up automatic local, cloud or hybrid backups for homes and businesses, then test the restore so you know your files will actually come back when it counts.
Encryption, sensible access controls and clear policies keep your data out of the wrong hands without getting in the way of your working day.
Moving to a new device? We transfer your data across cleanly, check every file landed safely, and keep downtime to a minimum.
A fresh Windows or macOS install clears out years of clutter and lingering infections. We rebuild, reconfigure and restore your machine so it feels new again.
Something new to install, or old programs to clear out? We handle software installs, removals and licensing so everything works together the way it should.
Brand-new or getting on in years, we tune startup items, storage and settings so your computer runs as fast and smoothly as it can.
From the latest consoles to retro favourites, we set them up, sort parental controls, and get them talking to your home network and TV.
Firewalls, antivirus, patching and sensible configuration keep your systems and networks protected, and we step in quickly if something slips through.
We set up and troubleshoot AV, projectors, sound and video conferencing for homes, boardrooms and meeting spaces so presentations just work.
Ransomware, spyware, adware or a stubborn virus? Our technicians remove the infection, recover what they can, and harden the machine so it does not happen again.
New printer refusing to cooperate or an old one gone on strike? We get printing, scanning and drivers working across all your devices.
Not sure what to buy? We give honest, vendor-neutral advice on the devices and solutions that genuinely suit how you live and work.
After damage, loss or theft, we prepare clear condition and valuation reports to support your insurance claim.
CCTV, access control, smart locks, intercoms and alarms, installed, serviced and tied neatly into your network and systems.
